Seamless Activewear Manufacturer for Structured Brand Programs
MOVEVOX supports activewear, yoga, fitness and training brands with Seamless product development and commercial manufacturing from an owned Yiwu core production base equipped with 28 Italian Santoni seamless knitting machines.
Projects can begin from a Tech Pack, authorized physical sample, image, sketch or sufficiently clear product concept and progress through technical review, physical sampling, buyer revision, approval, quality control and commercial production.
The objective is to connect Seamless equipment with real product development, approved physical standards and repeatable production rather than treating machine ownership alone as proof that every product structure or performance requirement is automatically feasible.
28 Italian Santoni Machines at the MOVEVOX Yiwu Core Factory
MOVEVOX operates 28 Italian Santoni seamless knitting machines at its owned core manufacturing base in Yiwu, Zhejiang. This equipment provides the physical manufacturing foundation for suitable Seamless activewear development and production.
Physical Equipment, Not a Supplier Claim
Buyers evaluating a Seamless manufacturer can review the actual Santoni production environment rather than relying only on product catalog descriptions.
Development Before Bulk
Seamless production connects yarn selection, knitting program, garment dimensions, knitted structure, finishing and physical sample approval before a product becomes a commercial reference.
Product-Specific Feasibility
A Santoni machine does not make every design automatically suitable for Seamless production. The actual garment needs technical and physical development.

What Seamless Manufacturing Can — and Cannot — Prove
Reliable supplier evaluation separates physical Seamless manufacturing capability from assumptions that still require technical development or project-specific evidence.
| Assumption | Manufacturing Reality | Required Review |
|---|---|---|
| Owning Santoni machines proves every product is feasible. | Equipment provides manufacturing capability, but individual garment structures still require development. | Product structure, yarn, dimensions, sample and physical result. |
| Every activewear SKU should use Seamless. | Some product structures are more suitable for Cut & Sew. | Select the route according to the actual garment. |
| A reference image is enough for bulk. | Images do not fully define dimensions, structure, material, size or brand execution. | Develop a controlled physical and technical product reference. |
| Fabric or yarn description proves finished performance. | Material description alone does not prove a specific result. | Physical validation or appropriate project evidence. |
| Garment MOQ is the complete project MOQ. | Yarn, custom color, labels or packaging may create separate commercial minimums. | Review complete project requirements before confirmation. |
Develop Seamless Structure as One Knitted Garment System
Seamless development can involve different knitted structures within one garment. The actual structure needs to be reviewed through programming and physical development rather than treated as a decorative surface effect alone.
Waistband Structure
Waist dimensions, yarn behavior, knit structure and finishing influence the physical waistband result.
Rib & Texture
Ribbed and textured knitted areas can form part of both the garment structure and approved visual direction.
Mesh & Localized Structure
Selected knitted structures may be developed in specific garment areas where the design and machine-programming route allow.
Structure Transitions
Transitions between waistband, body, rib, mesh and other areas need to work as part of the complete knitted garment.
Start Seamless Material Decisions With the Actual Product
Seamless development begins with physical material and yarn decisions that need to work with the intended knit structure, garment dimensions, surface direction, color and commercial requirements.
Product Type
Leggings, bras, shorts and tops can place different requirements on yarn, structure and finished garment behavior.
Handfeel Direction
Buyer directions such as softer, smoother or firmer need physical material validation rather than description alone.
Knit Compatibility
Yarn and material direction should be considered together with the intended rib, mesh, texture and other knitted structures.
Color & Commercial Constraints
Available yarn/material colors can simplify development, while custom color can introduce separate minimums and timing.
Plan Yarn Color, Material Minimums and Timing Before Bulk
Seamless color development can begin at the yarn or material level. The effective project minimum can therefore differ from the base garment-production MOQ.
01 — Color Direction
Establish an agreed physical color reference for the project.
02 — Yarn / Material Route
Confirm whether an available yarn/material color can be used or a custom route is required.
03 — Physical Approval
Review applicable physical color or material standards before the relevant bulk material is released.
04 — Seamless Development
Connect the approved color direction with the knitting program and physical development sample.
05 — Material Preparation
Timing depends on yarn/material availability, custom color, supplier conditions and quantity.
06 — Bulk Preparation
Approved color, yarn/material and product standards move into commercial production preparation.
Move From Product Input to an Approved Seamless Sample
MOVEVOX uses the available buyer information to move a Seamless product through technical review, material and knitting preparation, physical sampling, revision and approval before bulk preparation.
01 — Product Input
Collect the available Tech Pack, sample, image, sketch, measurements and commercial requirements.
02 — Technical Review
Identify open questions affecting dimensions, material, knit structure, branding or commercial feasibility.
03 — Yarn / Material Direction
Define the applicable physical material direction for the intended product.
04 — Seamless Development Setup
Prepare knitting-program and garment-structure inputs for physical development.
05 — Physical Sample
Produce a real sample for buyer review.
06 — Revision
Convert buyer comments into specific development changes.
07 — Approval
Confirm the applicable product, measurement, material, color and branding references.
08 — Production Preparation
Transfer released requirements into material, production and quality-control planning.
Start From a Tech Pack, Sample or Clear Product Direction
Tech Pack
Use available drawings, measurements, materials, colors, artwork and other technical information as the starting point.
Authorized Physical Sample
A physical sample can communicate dimensions, structure, material direction and product details that may be difficult to define through images alone.
Image, Sketch or Concept
Where technical definition is incomplete, a clear product direction can be reviewed so unresolved development questions remain visible.
Resolve Seamless Technical Questions Before Sampling
A visually clear Seamless concept can still contain open technical questions that affect dimensions, material, knitting structure, sampling or commercial feasibility.
Measurement Conflict
Confirm the current controlling dimensions and measurement method.
Undefined Yarn / Material
Replace subjective material descriptions with a physical reference or clear material direction.
Knit-Structure Ambiguity
Identify where rib, mesh, texture, waistband or other knitted structures need definition.
Size Requirements
Keep size development connected to the current product and knitting program.
Branding Compatibility
Review approved branding against the actual garment surface and placement.
MOQ & Testing
Clarify material minimums and any project-specific evidence requirements before commitment.
Control Multiple Seamless Styles, Colors and Approval Stages
Established brand programs can include several Seamless products, sizes, colors, material dependencies and sample versions. Each SKU needs its own approved status while remaining coordinated within the wider collection.
| Program Area | Control Point |
|---|---|
| Style / SKU | Product identity and development priority |
| Yarn / Material | Approved direction and readiness |
| Color | Available or custom route and physical approval |
| Sample Version | Current development and revision status |
| Brand Execution | Approved labels, identification and packaging |
| Quantity / Timing | Commercial planning and production allocation |
Use Seamless Where It Fits — and Cut & Sew Where the Product Requires It
A brand collection does not need to force every SKU into the same manufacturing route. MOVEVOX supports both Seamless and Cut & Sew so each product can be reviewed according to its actual structure.
Seamless Route
Suitable products can be developed through yarn, knitting-program, dimensions and engineered knitted structures.
Cut & Sew Route
Products requiring defined pattern pieces, panels, pockets or other pattern-based construction can be separately reviewed for Cut & Sew.
Collection-Level Coordination
Related products can still share commercial color direction, branding and project coordination while retaining separate technical production standards.
Have a Seamless Collection Ready for Technical Review?
Share the available project information before sample development begins.
Tech Pack · Product Reference · SKU List · Quantity · Yarn / Material · Color · Branding · Target Timing
A complete specification is useful but not mandatory for the first discussion. Open technical points can remain visible for development review rather than becoming unrecorded production assumptions.
Reasonable NDA or confidentiality requirements can be discussed before additional confidential product information is exchanged.
OEM, ODM or Private Label for Seamless Activewear
The appropriate cooperation model depends on how much product definition the buyer already controls and how much additional development support is required.
| Area | OEM | ODM | Private Label |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical Starting Point | Buyer-defined technical specification | Clear direction with incomplete technical definition | Product requiring buyer-approved brand execution |
| Development Role | Review, sampling and manufacturing | Additional product-development support | Can overlap with OEM or ODM |
| Branding | Project dependent | Project dependent | Core part of the commercial program |
Move From an Approved Seamless Garment to a Brand-Ready Order
Private Label execution needs to keep approved branding and product identification connected to the correct garment, color, size, SKU and commercial order.
Approved Garment
The approved Seamless garment remains the product reference.
Logo
Artwork, size, position and product application follow buyer-approved requirements.
Labels & Hangtags
Approved product, care, size and commercial information remain connected to the correct SKU.
Barcode / QR
Buyer-supplied identification is matched to the correct color and size where required.
Packaging & Carton
Final packing follows the confirmed commercial order and released packaging instructions.
Separate Garment MOQ From Yarn, Color and Component Minimums
01 — Garment MOQ
Base Seamless reference: approximately 100 pieces per style.
This reference applies under normal material and production conditions and is not a universal minimum for every Seamless project.
02 — Yarn / Material MOQ
Dedicated material, yarn or custom color requirements can create a higher minimum than the garment-production reference.
Custom dyeing or material preparation may require approximately 400–600 garment-equivalent pieces depending on the actual project.
03 — Brand Component MOQ
Labels, packaging, branding components or other purchased commercial elements may also have their own supplier minimums.
Use Initial Seamless Production to Build a Repeatable Supply Program
A lower commercial entry point is most useful when it creates a controlled path from product validation into repeat commercial supply.
01 — Pilot Order
Begin from an approved product and commercially workable quantity.
02 — Physical Validation
Review the actual garment, quality, branding and packing result.
03 — Repeat Order
Carry the current approved product information into the next production cycle.
04 — Forecast Visibility
Use better demand information to support material and capacity planning.
05 — Capacity Review
Review larger quantities against actual product and production requirements.
06 — Scaled Program
Move suitable repeat programs into managed production planning and QC.
Plan Seamless Brand Programs Against Real Production Requirements
Capacity planning should consider the actual product mix, yarn/material readiness, number of SKUs, quality requirements, packing and requested timing rather than theoretical machine output alone.
28 Santoni Machines
Owned Seamless equipment at the Yiwu core manufacturing base.
150,000–200,000 pcs/month
Current normal combined managed delivery capacity across the broader MOVEVOX production system.
50,000+ pcs

- Product and knitted structure
- Number of styles and SKUs
- Yarn / material readiness
- Custom color requirements
- Development status
- Quality-control workload
- Branding and packaging
- Requested production timing
