Custom Activewear Manufacturer for Brand-Owned Product Development
MOVEVOX helps activewear brands translate Tech Packs, approved references and defined product requirements into production-ready garments through structured development, Seamless and Cut & Sew manufacturing, controlled sampling, private-label execution and quality-managed bulk production.
Yiwu, Zhejiang, China · Manufacturing and supply-chain operations since 2019.
Compare Activewear Manufacturers by Evidence, Not Claims
A serious custom activewear supplier should be evaluated across product development, manufacturing reality, commercial fit, quality control and supplier-risk governance. MOVEVOX makes these areas reviewable rather than relying on generic “high quality” positioning.

A Good Sample Is Only Useful If Bulk Can Reproduce It
Custom activewear programs often fail after sample approval because material, fit, construction, color, branding or packaging standards are not transferred into controlled production references. MOVEVOX treats this transfer as a formal manufacturing step.
Material Changes
Risk: The sample may use one approved fabric, yarn or color lot while bulk can drift if sourcing or substitution is not controlled.
MOVEVOX Control: Lock approved material references, control supplier/source changes and require reconfirmation when relevant inputs change.
Fit & Measurement
Risk: A sample can fit correctly while graded sizes or bulk measurements drift if the approved measurement system is not transferred into production.
MOVEVOX Control: Use current measurement specifications, approved fit references, First Article checks and inline/final measurement control.
Construction
Risk: Stitch, knit structure, reinforcement or assembly details can change when the production team receives incomplete or outdated instructions.
MOVEVOX Control: Freeze the released construction version and verify First Article output before normal-volume continuation.
Color
Risk: Pantone targets and screen colors do not replace the actual approved physical color reference for the chosen material route.
MOVEVOX Control: Use Lab Dip or approved physical standards where applicable and revalidate when material or dye-lot conditions materially change.
Branding & Labels
Risk: Logo dimensions, position, label files or SKU mapping can be correct on samples but incorrect in bulk if versions are mixed.
MOVEVOX Control: Link approved artwork and label information to the correct style/SKU and verify before packing release.
Packaging
Risk: Correct garments can still become a commercial failure when barcode, size label, polybag or carton information is mismatched.
MOVEVOX Control: Control packaging files and complete SKU, label, carton and final-release checks before shipment.
From a U.S. Activewear Tech Pack to Wear-Tested Samples and Repeat Production
This anonymized project illustrates how MOVEVOX has handled a custom activewear development program in which fit, stretch, support, opacity, multiple sizes, multiple colors and private-label execution mattered beyond visual similarity.
Client & Product Context
Market: United States
Client type: Fitness-content-led activewear business; client identity withheld for confidentiality.
Product scope: Bodysuits, workout/yoga sets, leggings, shorts, sports bras and tank tops across ongoing product development.
Key requirements: High stretch, supportive feel, opacity, soft hand, inclusive sizing and seasonal material directions.
Development Path
- Client supplied style Tech Packs.
- MOVEVOX completed manufacturability review before the first sample.
- Real workout feedback drove a controlled second sample.
- After the revised sample was substantially aligned, additional samples were made for actual wear testing.
- Approved standards then moved into multi-size, multi-color bulk production and private-label packing control.
Why the Project Matters
The project required more than reproducing a visual design. Material composition, stretch behavior, support, opacity, fit, seasonal fabric direction and size inclusivity had to be considered together, then translated into a repeatable production standard.
Evidence to Publish
The strongest public evidence would be anonymized Tech Pack pages, first-versus-revised sample records, wear-test sample shipment records, QR/color/size packing checklists, bulk QC evidence and a repeat-order record.
Evidence status: Replace the placeholders below only with files cleared for public use.

Six Capabilities Behind Custom Activewear Development and Production
MOVEVOX combines product development, two manufacturing routes, brand execution, quality control and managed scale-up so a brand can move from approved concept to repeat production through one accountable supplier interface.
Product Development
An approximately eight-person development system covers design, pattern and sample functions and can involve sourcing, QC and production owners for complex projects.
Seamless Manufacturing
The core production system includes 28 Italian Santoni seamless knitting machines for suitable leggings, bras, shorts, tops and engineered knitted activewear structures.
Cut & Sew Manufacturing
Approximately 24 principal sewing and garment-production machines support cutting, overlock, Flatlock, Coverstitch, garment assembly and related activewear processes.
Material & Branding
Projects can coordinate material, color, fit, construction, screen print, heat transfer, silicone print, embroidery, labels, hangtags and packaging under one approved product version.
Quality Control
Five QC personnel support incoming, pre-production, First Article, inline, finished-garment, measurement, branding, packaging and pre-shipment controls.
Scale-Up
The own core factory is combined with eight major long-term managed satellite factories for controlled expansion after product and production standards are established.
Verify the Operations Behind MOVEVOX Custom Activewear Production
Factory evidence should connect each capability claim to a real place, process or record. Replace every image below with current MOVEVOX-owned or properly authorized manufacturing evidence.

See How Custom Activewear Requirements Become Physical Samples
Strong development evidence is not a rack of finished garments. It shows how technical input, material, pattern or seamless structure, revision and final approval are connected across the development process.

Tech Pack Review
A current technical file is reviewed for measurements, material, construction, branding, BOM or conflicts before development.

Pattern / Seamless Program
The product is translated into a Cut & Sew pattern or a Seamless knitted-structure/program route according to its construction.

Material & Color
Fabric, yarn, hand feel, physical color standards and other applicable inputs are matched to the current product requirement.

First Sample
The initial physical sample is checked against the development brief to expose measurable differences and open questions.

Revision Sample
Consolidated customer comments are applied to a controlled new version rather than informal parallel changes.

PP / Approval Sample
The production-intent sample and current technical information become the physical and documentary reference for bulk handover.
Choose OEM, Development-Led ODM or Private Label by Starting Input
MOVEVOX does not use OEM and ODM as interchangeable marketing terms. The route depends on what the brand already controls, which manufacturing decisions remain open and where customer approval is required.
| Decision | OEM | Development-Led ODM | Private Label |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical Starting Input | Defined Tech Pack and technical requirements. | Concept, references or incomplete specifications needing manufacturing translation. | Product direction plus brand execution requirements. |
| MOVEVOX Role | Technical clarification, sampling and controlled manufacturing execution. | Translate product intent into material, fit, construction and sample decisions. | Coordinate product development with logo, labels, hangtags and packaging. |
| Customer Role | Own technical direction and approve sample / production standard. | Own brand direction and approve development choices at defined gates. | Approve both product and private-label elements before bulk. |
| Best Fit | Mature brands with established specifications. | Brands needing supplier-side product-development involvement. | Brands building differentiated products and retail-ready brand execution together. |
Build the Product and Private Label as One Controlled Standard
Private label is more than applying a logo to a generic garment. MOVEVOX coordinates product, material, color, branding, labels and packaging so each approved element remains connected to the correct style, color, size and production version.
Product
Begin from an approved brand product, customer Tech Pack or a development project. Product requirements remain linked to the current style and version.
Material & Color
Coordinate fabric or yarn, hand feel, GSM, stretch, recovery, opacity and physical color approval. Custom dyeing may create separate upstream MOQ.
Branding
Confirmed common options include screen print, heat transfer, silicone print and embroidery, with artwork, dimensions, color, position and material reviewed before bulk.
Labels
Main labels, care labels, size labels, woven or printed labels should be mapped to the correct product/SKU and final approved information.
Hangtags & Barcode
Hangtags, barcode, SKU stickers and related identification should follow the latest customer file rather than generic packing assumptions.
Retail Packaging
Individual polybags, custom bags, inserts, carton marks and other retail requirements are reviewed for specification, supplier MOQ and actual project cost.
Execute From a Full Tech Pack Without Silently Rewriting the Brand Standard
Brands with complete technical packages are a high-fit customer type for MOVEVOX. The first step is still technical review: conflicts, missing information or manufacturability risks should be raised before sampling or bulk rather than interpreted without approval.
Technical Drawing
- Style views and product construction direction
- Critical design details and callouts
- Current released version
BOM & Material
- Fabric or yarn specification
- Trims, elastic, pad, zipper or drawcord where applicable
- Customer-nominated source where required
Measurement & Fit
- Measurement chart and POM definitions
- Tolerance requirements
- Grade rules or approved size system
Construction
- Seam or knitted-structure requirements
- Stitching / assembly details
- Reinforcement or special construction callouts
Branding & Color
- Logo artwork and placement
- Pantone / physical color reference
- Labels and hangtags
Packaging & Compliance
- Packing instruction and SKU mapping
- Destination-market or buyer-manual requirements
- Testing or inspection requirements where applicable
Control principle: Customer Tech Pack, PO, approved sample, measurement chart, color standard, logo files, packaging requirements and customer QC Manual form the project hierarchy. Material or construction changes require the applicable customer confirmation.
Match Activewear Material to the Product Requirement, Not a Generic Fabric Name
Material selection should be reviewed with the product, manufacturing route, hand feel, stretch, recovery, opacity, fit, color and commercial requirements. A fiber blend alone does not guarantee the final wearing result.
Fabric Decision Questions
- Which product and movement scenario is being developed?
- Is the intended construction Seamless, Cut & Sew or still under review?
- Which handfeel, stretch, recovery and opacity targets matter?
- Does the project require a stock direction, custom color or Lab Dip approval?
- Are any performance claims tied to a defined test method or buyer requirement?
Nylon / Polyamide + Spandex
A common activewear direction where the actual decision still depends on GSM, hand feel, stretch, recovery, opacity, color, finishing and product construction.
Soft hand / Stretch / Activewear
Polyester + Spandex
A suitable direction for selected activewear products when the actual fabric specification and intended product requirements align.
Stretch / Cut & Sew / Performance
Seamless Knit
Yarn, machine diameter, programmed knit structure, rib, mesh, texture and finishing together create the finished seamless material behavior.
Seamless / Yarn / Structure
Brushed / Soft-Hand
Brushed, peach-like or soft-hand surfaces can be reviewed for suitable products; physical approval should use the actual project fabric and finished sample.
Handfeel / Physical Approval
Rib / Texture
Ribbed and textured material or knitted structures can create product differentiation where technically suitable and approved through physical development.
Texture / Structure / Design
Build Activewear Fit Around Measurable Standards and Physical Approval
Activewear fit is not controlled by a generic S/M/L label. Measurement points, tolerance, grade rules, stretch behavior, product construction and the approved physical fit standard must work together across development and bulk production.
Buyer Inputs
- Measurement Chart and POM definitions
- Target silhouette and fit intent
- Grade Rules or existing size system where available
- Fit comments or approved reference sample
- Market-specific size requirements
MOVEVOX Development Controls
- Pattern or Seamless structure review
- Physical sample measurement
- Fit Sample and controlled revision
- Size Set / PP approval where required
- First Article and inline/final measurement control

MOVEVOX does not use one universal fit standard for every market. Formal brand projects are executed against the customer's measurement system, approved sample and released fit requirements.
Turn Every Sample Into a Controlled Approval Step
Sampling should reduce uncertainty rather than create uncontrolled parallel versions. Each stage needs defined customer inputs, MOVEVOX outputs and a pass condition before the next development or production decision.
First Sample
Goal: Translate the confirmed technical brief into the first physical garment and expose open questions in material, fit, measurements, construction, color or branding.
Customer Inputs
- Current development brief

Have a Tech Pack or Activewear Product Ready for Review?
Send the information already available. MOVEVOX can review the intended product, manufacturing route, material, fit, customization, MOQ and sampling requirements, then identify the next technical and commercial steps before bulk commitments are made.
NDA-based cooperation is available when unreleased product or commercial information requires formal confidentiality.
Manage Multiple Activewear SKUs Through Development Waves and Milestones
Under suitable project conditions, MOVEVOX can manage approximately 10–20 SKUs at different development stages. Larger programs are more controllable when dependencies are organized by waves rather than unmanaged simultaneous sampling.
Project Setup
Establish SKU codes, development priority, technical-input status, manufacturing route and common collection standards before multiple samples run in parallel.
Shared Platforms
Identify where fabrics, colors, logo rules, labels or packaging can legitimately be shared without assuming one approval covers every SKU.
Development Wave One
Prioritize approximately 5–10 strategic SKUs when appropriate so major material, fit and construction decisions can be resolved first.
Development Wave Two
Release the next group after critical dependencies are sufficiently stable while maintaining independent sample and approval status for each SKU.
Approval Tracking
Track development sample, revision, fit, approved and production-ready status by SKU rather than treating the entire collection as one approval.
Production Handover
Only released SKUs enter production with current technical information, material references, brand elements and QC checkpoints.
The exact simultaneous SKU load depends on input quality, product complexity, shared materials, approval speed and timing. The range is a planning reference, not a universal fixed promise.
Evaluate MOQ by Manufacturing Route and Upstream Material Requirements
Garment quantity is only one MOQ layer. Material, custom color, logo, labels and packaging can have separate supplier minimums, so the actual order structure should be reviewed before final commercial confirmation.
Seamless Custom
A base Seamless custom reference is approximately 100 pieces per style. Final feasibility depends on yarn, structure, colors, size allocation, branding and other project requirements.
Use: Development entry / controlled first order
Review: Yarn · Color · Sizes · Branding
Cut & Sew
A base Cut & Sew custom reference is approximately 150 pieces per style. Fabric availability, color allocation, sizes, construction and brand components still require actual project review.
Use: Custom C&S styles and collection development
Review: Fabric · Colors · Sizes · Construction
Custom Color
Custom dyeing is usually controlled by the selected fabric/yarn route and dye-lot requirement. A typical evaluation level is around 400–600 pieces equivalent garment quantity, not a universal fixed MOQ.
Use: Pantone/custom-color programs
Review: Material · Dye Lot · Color · Structure
Move the Approved Activewear Standard Into Controlled Bulk Production
Regular bulk production is typically about 20–35 days, subject to material readiness, quantity, complexity, customer approvals, testing, inspection and the agreed Cargo Ready definition. The production standard should be released before this clock is treated as meaningful.
Production Readiness
Review the current PO, technical files, approved sample, material, color, branding, packaging and project-specific inspection/testing requirements.
Material Preparation
Prepare applicable fabrics, yarns, trims, labels and packing materials under the confirmed source and version requirements.
Pre-Production Review
Align technical, production, PMC and quality owners around the current released standard before normal output begins.
First Article
Check initial production output against the released technical and physical reference before normal-volume continuation.
Bulk Execution
Produce according to the allocated manufacturing route and current released information, including managed satellite capacity when applicable.
Inline Quality
Check relevant measurements, workmanship, construction and brand details during production so issues can be contained earlier.
Final Release
Review finished garments and packing against applicable acceptance requirements before shipment release.
Timing scope: 20–35 days is a typical production reference, not a universal guaranteed lead time. Special materials, custom colors, complex products, large orders or additional approval gates can change the actual schedule.
How a Spanish Private-Label Program Moved From First Bulk to Repeat Orders
This anonymized case demonstrates a repeat-order relationship in which product execution, private-label packing, production updates, quality checks, shipment planning and later capacity response mattered after the initial development stage.
Sample / First Order Validation
The program progressed from approved product and private-label requirements into formal bulk production rather than remaining a one-off sample project.
Controlled Production Updates
Production progress was shared with the customer through project images and video, helping the buyer see actual execution before shipment.
QC & Packing
Case records state that garments received piece-by-piece quality checks before packing, followed by individual packing and export-carton preparation under the order requirements.
Split Shipping
The first order used a combination of air and sea shipment to balance arrival timing and overall delivery planning rather than treating logistics as a disconnected final step.
Repeat Order
The relationship developed into repeat purchasing, allowing already established product and private-label standards to support faster continuation than a completely new supplier-development cycle.
Capacity Response
A later order required a substantially larger production response. MOVEVOX added production-line resources and used the established program knowledge to support the expanded requirement.

Client name, brand identity and sensitive commercial figures are withheld. Exact repeat-order, expansion and inventory figures should only be published after the corresponding PO, stock or shipment records are cleared for public use.
Review Capacity by Manufacturing Scope Instead of One Inflated Number
MOVEVOX uses separate scope definitions for Seamless, Cut & Sew and managed combined delivery. These figures are not intended to be added together into a theoretical “maximum total capacity.”
Managed Combined Delivery
Approximate normal managed monthly delivery range across the production system under typical operating conditions.
Seamless Stable Scope
Approximate stable monthly Seamless manufacturing capacity under its own production definition.
Cut & Sew Stable Scope
Approximate stable monthly Cut & Sew capacity under its own manufacturing definition.
Santoni Machines
Italian Santoni seamless knitting machines in the core production system.
Garment Equipment
Principal sewing and garment-production equipment in the core Cut & Sew system.
Order Range
Typical individual order range reference, subject to product, material, SKU structure and timing.
Capacity rule: Do not add 300K Seamless and 100K Cut & Sew to claim “400K total.” Formal projects require PMC review against SKU, product route, material and delivery timing.
Use Managed Capacity Without Hiding Where Production Happens
MOVEVOX operates an own core factory together with eight major long-term managed satellite factories—six in Yiwu and two in Guangzhou—plus selected specialist resources when a project requires them. Satellite production is not represented as wholly owned manufacturing.
Own Core Factory
The Yiwu core base is the central manufacturing, development and quality-control foundation and establishes standards before suitable repeatable production is expanded.
Managed Satellites
Long-term satellite factories provide controlled additional capacity for production routes and order volumes that fit their approved capability.
Unified Materials
Core materials and brand-critical components are centrally sourced or source-controlled so individual production sites do not independently redefine the order.
Unified PMC
Production timing, facility allocation, material status and WIP are coordinated through MOVEVOX rather than each factory independently promising delivery dates.
Unified QC
Approved samples, specifications and customer standards are distributed as shared production and QC references across the relevant execution chain.
Approved Factory Control
Where a buyer requires an Approved Factory Only model or site disclosure, production-location changes require the appropriate customer review and written approval.
Control the Approved Custom Standard From Material to Final Release
MOVEVOX uses customer requirements, approved samples and released specifications as the quality reference. Five QC personnel support inspection and measurement activities across the production process rather than relying only on final garment checks.
Requirement Review
Convert current Tech Pack, PO, approved sample, measurement, color, branding, packaging and customer QC requirements into the order-quality reference.
Incoming Material
Review relevant material information and project requirements such as color, GSM, shrinkage, elasticity/stretch or opacity where applicable.

Scope: A report applies only within its sample, method, date and stated scope.
MOVEVOX Response: Support requirement review, sample selection, lab submission, report review and retesting when relevant inputs change.
Material Evidence
Supplier declarations or certifications should be checked for holder, product, validity and actual applicability before use.
Scope: A material supplier certificate is not automatically a MOVEVOX factory certification.
MOVEVOX Response: Collect applicable evidence and describe options only within actual scope.
Label Requirements
Main labels, care labels, composition information, size labels and packaging marks follow the current approved requirement.
Scope: Required wording and format vary by destination market and buyer instruction.
MOVEVOX Response: Confirm final label information and map it to the correct style/SKU.
Testing Evidence
Project-specific testing may use customer-nominated or qualified third-party laboratories when required.
Scope: Testing support does not mean every MOVEVOX product carries permanent blanket certification.
MOVEVOX Response: Support test planning, submission, review, production mapping and change-triggered retesting.
Compliance formula: Market + Product + Material + Chemical + Label + Evidence.

Custom Activewear Manufacturer FAQ for Sourcing and Product Teams
These questions address the technical, commercial and vendor-qualification issues a mature activewear buyer commonly needs to resolve before moving a supplier into sample development, trial order or formal onboarding.
Development
Can MOVEVOX manufacture a custom activewear product from our Tech Pack?
Yes. Complete Tech Packs are a high-fit project input for MOVEVOX. The development team can review technical drawings, measurements, material, construction, branding and packaging requirements before sampling. If conflicts or manufacturability risks are identified, they should be raised for customer confirmation rather than silently changed. The objective is to convert the current technical package into an approved physical sample and a controlled bulk-production reference.
Can you start if our specification is incomplete?
Yes, depending on project complexity. MOVEVOX can review an incomplete Tech Pack, legal reference sample, sketch, image or defined product concept. More incomplete inputs require more manufacturing translation and customer decisions before the product becomes bulk-ready. Critical fit, measurements, material, construction, branding, commercial and compliance requirements still need to be confirmed through the development and approval process.
Manufacturing
Do you manufacture both Seamless and Cut & Sew activewear?
Yes. MOVEVOX operates both manufacturing routes. The core Seamless system includes 28 Italian Santoni machines, while the core Cut & Sew system includes approximately 24 principal sewing and garment-production machines. Different SKUs within one collection can use different manufacturing routes where technically appropriate, while project management, materials, quality and final release remain coordinated through one supplier interface.
Commercial
What is the MOQ for custom activewear?
The base custom reference is approximately 100 pieces per style for Seamless and approximately 150 pieces per style for Cut & Sew. These are not universal guarantees. Material, custom color, logo, labels, packaging, style complexity and quantity allocation can create separate upstream minimums. Custom-dyed material commonly requires evaluation around 400–600 pieces equivalent garment quantity depending on the actual selected material and dye-lot route.
Sampling
How long does sample development take?
Standard sample development is typically around 5–10 working days after the relevant development details are confirmed. The exact time depends on product complexity, material availability, custom color, special trims, branding and the completeness of the technical input. Sampling should not skip essential confirmation simply to create an unrealistic speed claim.
How do you control sample revisions?
Each sample should be treated as a controlled development version. Customer comments are consolidated, agreed changes are applied, and superseded measurements, artwork or technical instructions should not remain active. Fit, construction, material, color and branding issues can be tracked separately until the relevant sample becomes the approved physical reference for production.
Quality
How do you control sample-to-bulk consistency?
MOVEVOX uses the current Tech Pack or specification, approved sample, measurement chart, color standard, artwork and packaging requirements as production references. Controls can include Specification Freeze, pre-production review, First Article, inline inspection, finished-garment measurement, logo/label checks, packaging checks and final release. The purpose is to prevent development-stage information from mixing with the released bulk standard.
Capacity
What monthly capacity can MOVEVOX manage?
MOVEVOX's managed combined normal delivery range is approximately 150,000–200,000 garments per month under normal operating conditions. Separate scope figures exist for Seamless stable capacity and Cut & Sew stable capacity, but they should not be added into an artificial “400,000 total” claim. Formal project capacity is reviewed against product, SKU structure, material and delivery timing.
Supply Chain
Do you use satellite factories or subcontracted production?
MOVEVOX operates its own core factory together with eight major long-term managed satellite factories—six in Yiwu and two in Guangzhou—and selected specialist resources when applicable. These facilities are not presented as MOVEVOX-owned factories. Technical requirements, materials, PMC, QC and final responsibility remain coordinated by MOVEVOX, and buyer-specific Approved Factory or disclosure rules are followed where required.
Compliance
Can MOVEVOX support testing and buyer compliance requirements?
Yes, subject to project review. MOVEVOX can support customer RSL or chemical requirements, material evidence, label requirements and project-specific testing through customer-nominated or qualified third-party laboratories. Testing support is not a blanket certification. Each report must remain tied to its actual sample, material, method, date, holder and stated scope.
Verification
Can our team visit or audit the factory?
Yes. Qualified global brands and B2B buyers can arrange factory visits, technical audits, pre-production visits, inline inspections, pre-shipment inspections or live-video verification. Scheduling and confidentiality controls apply because one customer's verification should not expose another customer's unreleased products, Tech Packs, packaging or commercial data.
Confidentiality
Can we sign an NDA before sharing unreleased designs?
Yes. MOVEVOX supports NDA-based cooperation where required. Tech Packs, design files, logos, unreleased samples, pricing, order quantities, forecasts and other customer-specific commercial information are treated as project-confidential information. Customer names, logos or confidential projects should not be used as public marketing evidence without explicit traceable permission.
Send Your Custom Activewear Project to MOVEVOX
For the most useful first review, send the product information you already control. A complete Tech Pack is ideal, but a sufficiently clear legal reference sample, sketch or product requirement can also be reviewed when additional manufacturing translation is required.
Include the product category, expected quantity by style/color/size, material or handfeel direction, measurement or fit information, logo and label requirements, packaging, destination market, target timing and any buyer-specific testing or factory requirements. These inputs help MOVEVOX identify the appropriate Seamless or Cut & Sew route, likely MOQ constraints, sampling requirements and key technical questions.
Standard sample development is typically around 5–10 working days after relevant details are confirmed. Base custom MOQ references are approximately 100 pieces per style for Seamless and 150 pieces per style for Cut & Sew, while custom color, special material, branding or packaging can have separate minimums. Regular bulk production is typically about 20–35 days subject to material readiness, quantity, complexity, approvals and inspection.
Submitting an inquiry does not mean every product specification or delivery target is automatically accepted. MOVEVOX reviews manufacturability, materials, capacity, quality, testing and commercial requirements against the actual project before confirmation. NDA-based cooperation is available for unreleased products and confidential sourcing information.
