Activewear Supplier for Global Brand Programs
MOVEVOX supports established and scaling activewear brands with manufacturing-led supply programs covering product development, private-label execution, sampling, quality control and repeat bulk production.
Relevant programs can include leggings, sports bras, shorts, tanks, coordinated sets and related close-to-body activewear. Depending on the product structure and buyer requirement, MOVEVOX supports both Seamless and Cut & Sew manufacturing routes.
Projects can begin from a complete Tech Pack, incomplete technical file, legally usable reference garment, sketch, image or clearly defined concept. MOVEVOX can then support technical review, material coordination, pattern or Seamless development, sampling, Fit and measurement review, revision, approval and bulk-production preparation.
The objective is not only to produce individual garments, but to support a controlled B2B sourcing program across product development, branding, SKU execution, quality control and repeat supply.
A Long-Term Activewear Supplier Needs to Support More Than Garment Production
For professional buyers, supplier qualification extends beyond whether a factory can make one garment. A long-term activewear supplier needs to support both the physical product and the commercial program behind it.
Product Assortment
The supplier needs to support relevant product categories across a sourcing program rather than treating every Style as an isolated transaction.
Materials
Activewear products can require different fabrics, yarns, stretch characteristics, weights, structures and Color directions. Material decisions need to remain connected to product structure and Fit.
Manufacturing
Different products may require Seamless or Cut & Sew. The manufacturing route should be selected according to the actual product rather than supplier convenience.
Product Development
Professional buyers may require technical review, sampling, Fit review, measurement control, revision and approval before Bulk.
Private Label
Commercial execution can involve Logo, labels, hangtags, barcode / QR, packaging and carton identification.
Repeat Supply
A supplier also needs to manage MOQ, lead time, quality, SKU accuracy and repeat-order continuity.
A long-term supplier supports both the activewear product and the commercial program behind it.
Support a Multi-Product Activewear Program Through One Supply Relationship
MOVEVOX supports relevant close-to-body activewear categories across custom and private-label sourcing programs. Product structure determines whether Seamless, Cut & Sew or another project-specific solution should be evaluated.

Leggings
MOVEVOX supports both Seamless and Cut & Sew leggings development according to material, measurements, Fit, construction and buyer specification.

Sports Bras
Sports bra development can be reviewed around Fit, underband, straps, materials, construction and padding or insert requirements where applicable, through technically suitable Seamless or Cut & Sew routes.

Shorts
Activewear shorts can be developed around buyer-defined Size, measurements, Fit, material, construction and branding.

Tanks / Tops
MOVEVOX can support relevant close-to-body activewear tanks and tops as part of wider brand programs.

Coordinated Sets
Related products can be coordinated around Color direction, material direction, branding, Size range and packaging.
Program-Level Supply
The commercial challenge becomes more complex as the assortment expands: Product × Style × Color × Size × Branding × Packaging. A supplier needs to keep each commercial product connected to the correct technical and branding information.
What Should a Buying Team Evaluate Before Shortlisting an Activewear Supplier?
Product Coverage
Can the supplier support the required activewear assortment rather than only one product type?
Supplier Model
Is the company primarily operating as a ready-stock wholesaler, trading supplier, manufacturer or manufacturing-led supply partner, and does that model match the buyer’s sourcing strategy?
Material Capability
Can the supplier coordinate suitable material directions for different products and commercial requirements?
Manufacturing Control
Can the supplier explain where production occurs, which manufacturing route is used, which facilities are core and which resources are external?
Product Development
Can the supplier work from technical inputs and move through sample, review, revision and approval?
Commercial Fit
Can the buyer understand MOQ, sample timing, bulk timing and upstream material constraints before committing to a program?
Quality & Repeatability
Can the supplier keep an approved product standard connected to Bulk and repeat orders?
Verification
Can the buyer inspect or verify the actual manufacturing system before long-term supplier approval?
Different Activewear Supplier Models Solve Different Sourcing Problems
| Supplier Model | Typical Strength | Buyer Consideration |
|---|---|---|
| Ready-Stock Wholesaler | Existing Styles, quick product access, limited development and simpler customization | The buyer generally adapts to the supplier’s existing product architecture |
| Trading Supplier | Broad product sourcing, access to multiple factories and flexible category coverage | Manufacturing control and production-site transparency can vary by project |
| Direct Factory Manufacturer | Visible production resources and direct manufacturing communication | Flexibility depends on the products and technical capabilities available within that manufacturing system |
| Manufacturing-Led Supply Partner | Core manufacturing, product development, external resource coordination, private label, QC and repeat production | Owned and external resources should be clearly distinguished |
Manufacturing-Driven Activewear Supply-Chain Partner
MOVEVOX operates with a core Yiwu manufacturing base and additional controlled production resources. Not all external production facilities are MOVEVOX-owned.
Where Activewear Supply Programs Commonly Lose Control
Supplier risk is not limited to visible garment defects. Activewear programs can also lose control through technical assumptions, commercial mismatches, SKU errors and unclear production responsibilities.
Product / Material Mismatch
A material may appear suitable by composition but still be wrong for the intended Fit, structure, construction or product direction.
Fit Drift
A development sample can be approved while later production begins to drift from critical measurements, Size logic or accepted Fit direction.
Wrong Manufacturing Route
A Style should not be pushed into Seamless or Cut & Sew simply because one route is convenient for the supplier. The route should match the actual product structure.
SKU Errors
Multi-Color and multi-Size activewear programs create risks including incorrect Size label, incorrect barcode, incorrect QR or incorrect packaging.
Private Label Errors
The garment may be correct but commercially unusable if Logo, labels, codes or packaging are mismatched.
Sample-to-Bulk Drift
If the approved development version is not translated into clear production references, Bulk can move away from the accepted product.
Lead-Time Instability
Material availability, buyer approvals and production windows can all affect timing.
Production-Site Opacity
Professional buyers may need to understand exactly where production takes place and which resources support their program.
Supplier risk includes product, commercial, quality and supply-chain control.

Select Activewear Materials Around the Actual Product Requirement
A material should not be selected only by fiber composition or marketing description. It needs to work with the intended product, Fit, manufacturing route and commercial program.
| Decision Area | What Needs to Be Aligned |
|---|---|
| Product Type | Material requirements can differ between leggings, sports bras, shorts, tanks and coordinated sets. |
| Fit | The material needs to work with the intended garment dimensions and buyer-approved Fit. |
| Stretch | Stretch behavior should be considered in relation to garment structure, Size, intended Fit and manufacturing route. |
| Recovery | Recovery can influence dimensions, Fit consistency and garment behavior after stretch. |
| Handfeel | The buyer may define a physical direction such as soft, smooth, firm or another approved reference. |
| Weight & Structure | Fabric or yarn structure may affect handling, coverage, construction compatibility and overall garment feel. |
| Commercial Availability | Material decisions also need to consider MOQ, Color, supplier availability, lead time and repeat-order availability. |
MOVEVOX does not make universal claims such as squat-proof, moisture-wicking, compression, cooling or UPF without suitable product/material-specific evidence.

Stretch Alone Does Not Define a Successful Activewear Product
Stretch and recovery need to be considered together with garment structure, measurements and Fit. A material that stretches more is not automatically more suitable for an activewear product.
Stretch Direction Matters
Material behavior can vary by direction. That can influence Fit, garment dimensions, panel behavior and overall product balance.
Recovery Matters After Extension
Recovery affects how the material returns after being stretched and can influence garment dimensions, perceived Fit and consistency across wear and handling.
Material and Pattern Interact
For Cut & Sew products, material behavior needs to work with pattern, seam placement and garment measurements.
Yarn and Seamless Structure Interact
For Seamless products, yarn and knitted structure interact with garment dimensions, development program and Fit direction.
Size Grading Cannot Be Separated From Material
A Size range should be reviewed with the actual material rather than treated only as mathematical scaling.
Approved Sample as Practical Reference
The approved physical product remains an important practical reference for Fit, material behavior, measurements and bulk preparation.
Stretch percentages, recovery percentages, compression ratings and shape-retention claims are presented only when supported by relevant testing.

Use Seamless Manufacturing Where the Activewear Structure Requires It
MOVEVOX currently operates 28 Italian Santoni Seamless knitting machines at the Yiwu core manufacturing base. The Seamless route can be evaluated for technically suitable products including relevant leggings, sports bras and other close-to-body activewear.
Yarn / Material Direction
Begin from the buyer-defined or reviewed yarn/material direction.
Seamless Structure / Program
Translate the intended product into the applicable Seamless development structure.
Knitting
Produce the garment through the reviewed Seamless route.
Garment Dimensions
Keep relevant dimensions within technical control.
Development Sample
Review the physical sample against measurements, material, product structure and overall development direction.
Fit Review
Use buyer comments to identify required changes.
Revision
Update the development version where required.
Approval
Use the accepted Seamless version as part of the released bulk reference.
Rib, mesh, textured knit and other structural features are treated as construction details unless specific compression, ventilation or support claims are supported by appropriate evidence.

Use Cut & Sew for Pattern-Led Activewear Development
Cut & Sew manufacturing is suited to products built around defined fabric, patterns, panels, seams, components and garment construction.

Material
Confirm the approved material direction.
Pattern
Translate the intended measurements and product structure into the current pattern.
Cutting
Prepare the correct panels according to Style × Color × Size.
Sewing
Assemble the garment according to the released construction.
Measurement
Check relevant POMs against the technical reference.
Quality Control
Review workmanship, construction and measurements through the applicable QC process.
Finished Product
Keep the finished product connected to the approved sample, released pattern and technical references.
Seamless and Cut & Sew are different manufacturing routes, not quality tiers.
Connect Activewear Product Customization With a Controlled Private Label System
Custom Activewear and Private Label execution solve different parts of the buyer’s program. Both need to remain connected to the approved product.
Product Customization
Depending on the project, buyer requirements can involve material, Color, Size, Fit, construction and applicable product details.
Logo
Logo execution should follow the buyer-approved artwork, placement and process.
Main / Size / Care Labels
Each label version needs to match the correct Style, Size and product requirement.
Woven Labels & Hangtags
Where required, these should remain connected to the correct commercial product.
Barcode / QR
Commercial coding can be controlled against Style × Color × Size.
Individual Packaging
MOVEVOX can coordinate polybags, stickers and custom packaging according to the project.
Carton Marks
Outer-carton information should correspond to the actual packed order.
Private Label is a commercial control system, not only Logo placement.

Identify Missing Technical Information Before It Becomes a Production Assumption
Buyer files do not always arrive with every technical and commercial detail resolved. Open points should be identified before development or production rather than silently interpreted.
Product
Confirm Style, intended product direction and current version.
Size & Fit
Review measurement chart, Size range, Fit direction and unresolved grading questions.
Material
Confirm fabric / yarn direction, Color and material requirements.
Construction
Clarify Seamless or Cut & Sew route and unresolved construction details.

Use Sampling to Verify Activewear Before Bulk Commitment

Requirement Review → Sample V1
Start from the current Tech Pack, measurement chart, material, Color, construction and branding information and produce the first physical interpretation of the reviewed requirement.

Internal Review → Buyer Review → Comments
MOVEVOX can check applicable measurements, construction, workmanship and obvious deviations before buyer submission. Buyer feedback is recorded against the current development version.

Revision → V2 → Approval
Update the relevant pattern, Seamless structure, measurements or construction and produce the revised version for confirmation before approval.
Standard sample development is typically approximately 5–10 working days after key details are confirmed. Actual timing depends on the project.
Close the Critical Product Questions Before Bulk Release
Bulk production should begin only after the current product standard has been sufficiently defined for the project.
| Approval Area | What Must Be Confirmed | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Product Version | Correct Style and current development version | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Material | Fabric / yarn, applicable components and material reference | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Color | Accepted Color reference | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Measurements | Critical POMs, measuring method and tolerance | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Fit | Buyer-accepted Fit where applicable | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Construction | Pattern, seam structure, Seamless development version and finishing | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Size | Applicable Size range and grading direction | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Branding | Logo, label versions, artwork and placement | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Commercial Codes | SKU, barcode and QR where applicable | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |
| Packaging | Folding, polybag, sticker, custom packaging and carton mark | Approved / Revision Required / Pending Buyer Confirmation |

Convert the Approved Activewear Sample Into a Controlled Production Reference
The approved sample is valuable only if the accepted technical and commercial details remain connected to bulk production.
Freeze the Accepted Standard
- Buyer-approved physical sample
- Approved POMs, measuring methods and tolerances
- Material reference
- Pattern / Seamless development version
- Approved Color
- Logo, labels and commercial coding
- Packaging specification
Carry the Standard Into Bulk
- Released production information
- Correct material and product version
- First Article review
- Bulk production
- Inline QC
- Finished-garment inspection
- Branding and packaging checks
The objective is controlled production against approved standards and tolerances. It is not a claim that every garment will be physically identical in every respect to one sample.

Understand the Effective MOQ Behind an Activewear Program
The garment MOQ is only one commercial minimum. Upstream materials, Colors, components and branding can create additional requirements.
| Requirement | MOVEVOX Reference | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Seamless Custom Garment | Approx. 100 pcs / Style | Subject to yarn, Color, product structure and actual project conditions |
| Cut & Sew Custom Garment | Approx. 150 pcs / Style | Subject to fabric, construction, components and actual project conditions |
| Fabric / Yarn | Supplier-specific | Custom materials can have separate minimums |
| Custom Color / Dyeing | Project-specific | Can create higher upstream requirements |
| Custom Dyeing Evaluation Reference | Often approx. 400–600 pcs | Depends on material, dye lot and process conditions |
| Components | Project-specific | Elastic, labels, trims and other components may have separate supplier minimums |
| Branding / Packaging | Project-specific | Logo, labels and custom packaging may have independent process minimums |
Garment MOQ ≠ Effective Project MOQ.
Keep Every Activewear SKU Connected to the Correct Product
A multi-product Activewear order can be technically correct but commercially wrong if Size labels, codes or packaging are mismatched.
| Control Area | Required Link |
|---|---|
| Product / Style | Correct product, Style and current version |
| Color | Correct approved Color reference |
| Size | Garment, label, commercial code and packaging use the correct Size information |
| SKU | Product × Style × Color × Size |
| Barcode / QR | Assigned code matches the correct SKU |
| Packaging | Packaging specification remains linked to the correct product |

Ready to Review Your Activewear Sourcing Program?
If your team already has product requirements, Tech Packs, reference garments, material directions or an existing Activewear program, MOVEVOX can use that information to begin an initial supplier review.
Useful starting information includes product list, Tech Packs, reference garments, material direction, Colors, Size range, private-label requirements, estimated quantities, target timing and the current supplier issue if relevant.
A complete technical package is preferred, but unresolved information can be identified during review rather than silently assumed.
Move From Approved Activewear Products Into Repeat Bulk Supply
A long-term supplier needs to support the buyer after development, not only during sampling.
Production Readiness
Confirm PO, approved Style, technical version, material, Color and remaining open points.
Material Preparation
Coordinate required fabric / yarn, components, labels and packaging.
Pre-Production Alignment
Align technical information, production information, QC requirements and order information before execution.

Separate Activewear Development Requirements From Verified Product Claims
Buyer requirements can guide product development, but performance or compliance claims need to remain connected to suitable evidence.
Development Direction
MOVEVOX can develop toward buyer-defined requirements involving material, Fit, coverage, Color, construction and buyer protocol.
Evidence Requirement
Formal claims such as quantified moisture management, defined compression, verified squat-proof performance, UPF or chemical compliance require appropriate evidence for the relevant product, material and method.
Sample-Specific Activewear Test Evidence
MOVEVOX currently holds third-party test evidence for a submitted black sample identified as fitness yoga leggings and for black fabric taken from that submitted sample.
- RoHS Certificate No. TST20250405148EC
- RoHS 2.0 Test Report No. TST20250405148E
- Report No. TST20250405150E relating to phthalates under REACH Annex XVII Entry 51 & 52 for black fabric from the submitted leggings sample
These reports apply only to the tested submitted sample/material, are not company-wide certifications and do not establish equivalent test status for all MOVEVOX Activewear.
Where required, testing can be coordinated according to the actual product, material, target market and buyer protocol.
